La Grande Hermine (replica carrack)

This is a replica of one of Jacques Cartier's ships from the 1500s. Originally built in 1914 in Quebec it was first used as a ferry, then a restaurant. It was then brought to Niagara to be used as another restaurant and while waiting for permits it was a victim of arson. It now is a landmark and very photogenic.
